Ground clearance measurements
I've been looking at the specs on the various model years of H3's and I noticed that the 2007 specs list ground clearance as 8.5/9.1 inches (32inch/33 inch tires). The 2009 and 2010 specs say 9.7/10.5 inches (32 inch/33 inch tires). That seems like a big difference in ground clearance to me. A 2007 adventure has 9.1 while a 2009 has 10.5 inches
. That's 1.4 inches more ground clearance with the same size tires. My question: is this true? It doesn't seem possible because the clearance is typically limited by the axle and I don't think there were any major modifications over those model years. Has anyone actually measured their ground clearance themselves? Does a 2009/10 adventure really have 10.5 inches of clearance under the axle?
