I may not be posting much for the next few weeks. I got hurt at work lastnight by a piece of ****. He didn't want to come to jail and began to fight us.. Needless to say, my right hand is in a cast due to tearing all of the ligaments in my right thumb. I will be on light duty for the next 2-4 months and I can't type left handed for crap!!! Did he get his? Why yes, I heard my thumb snap, but I continued with the stuggle and won..

So, if i dont type much, I'm not ignoring you, it's just a pain in the ***... lol I will be home for the next few days lurking...

Hope you guys beat his ***. My parents always told me to say yes ma'am, no sir and to do what the man with the shield and gun told you or you would get your *** whipped or worse. Hopefully nobody got any video of it or you will be on the news. Get well soon.

we do have cameras everywhere.. but i dont go around abusing people, so they dont bother me having themthere.. if anything, they protect me from BS lawsuits..

He got his.. meaning, he didnt get his *** kicked, but he did comply and stop fighting once i regained control via a pressure point/pain compliance.. The same thingI was attempting to do when my thumb snapped.. (Mandibular angle) My hand was hurting like nothing i have felt for years, but I wasn't going to let him win... at any cost.



A particularly painful point is the Mandibular nerve located just below the ear lobe. Pressure is applied with one finger since it places more pounds per square inch. It is a very small spot and a little difficult to hit and will cause a moderate amount of pain. When you try in on yourself you should feel the pain radiate down your lower jaw.

 

As far as I am concerned resisting arrest or getting physical with an officer puts him in a position where he can't lose control and as far as I am concerned anything goes. The guy had the chance to comply and chose to make you guess his intentions. You have to assume the worst. He's lucky he didn't get it even worse.

 

I've always been very peaceful with the officer(s) every time I have been arrested.... hell... CHP didn't even cuff me when I got my DUI...

 

It is like running from the cops. You might be able to get awat from the first one or two but you aren't going to outrun the helicopter and the radio. It is a battle you are going to lose and you are going to make life really ugly for yourself. I don't get these guys at all. How do they think things are going to get better by fighting the officer? Out here everytime the cops have to subdue someone there seems to be some local with a video cam ready to record the whole thing. once they resist it should be no holds barred until they don't resist anymore. Muddy your DUI is a perfect example, cooperate and things will go much better for you. If you had resisted arrest you still would have gotten the DUI, they just would have tacked a lot of other **** on top of it. Anyway Jeremy in case you couldn't tell I am very pro-law enforcement.
