Coppers are some of my best friends.
I graduated High School with probably 15 guys in my class and the one in front, and behind mine that are in law enforcement.
They all have a job to do, and we all need them to do it.

actually Dave I have a better story....

My supervisor and his roommate got pulled over with me in the car coming home from a party in san bernardino when I was stationed at March AFB.... they got very lippy with the cops and we soon had 4 cars, 7 officers, and 6 guns pointed on us... They were both arrested.... one for DUI and one for a few other things... I kept me mouth shut and remembered my yes, sir, no, sir, and as a result I walked away with the car, even after admitting to underage drinking, and a very stern lecture that to this day I can still remember word for word what the Sgt said to me...

My only problem is that the police need to remember that they are citizens also... I had a major run in with a offduty cop in his POVand a little roadrage incident.... he got in my face and just as he was about to get his *** beat by me he identified himself as a cop...

 

Agree Muddy. Great story. Occasionally one of the good guys isn't so good. If he is uniform you still have to be smart about how you deal with it. If he isn't in uniform and is being a dik he is fair game.

 

I hope you get better soon. Are you still going to the Badlands next weekend?
