After eight long years of faithful service , the H3 sadly has to go .
It was a strong , pretty ( in it's own way ) , reliable ( 99% ) , tough , and unique truck to own .
The change is just for the sake of change , and this is the longest period ever that I owned a car .
I got it with 62,000 miles and the ODO is showing now 178,000 miles . It still looks more or less
the same as the day I got it in 2010 . Better I would say .
Nothing lasts forever , and It's time now to look for a new 4X4 , probably a bit more
comfy and power . It's the old age I guess

 

What you should do is go from H3 to H2. That's what I did.

I wish they would produce a real body on frame SUV based upon the Chevrolet ZR2. Are you listening Chevy???

 

I drove H2's and to be honest , it's just a bulkier Humvee without much power . Not a big difference coz of the huge extra weight .
And it still wallows like hell
I'll probably go towards sporty comfy SUV : Infinity FX , Cayenne or the likes .....
Maybe will hunt for an clean late alpha , later on in life

Best of luck on your new vehicle search. I may not be too far behind you. When I was 21 and single it was a perfect match. Now my family of 5 barely fits for camping trips/vacation. I see a Yukon Xl in my future.
