I drilled when i installed the two ladders and replaced the oem hatch springs with gobi, big difference. I also installed the gobi recovery hook steps to easily access the ladder and hi-lift jack mounting bracket.

I'm not sure about drilling. Either way the ladder is mostly for look . I don't have a roof rack so not need to use it .

For sure I will install the 2nd too and the gobi lift

But next project is led.headlights . I feel old school still using hid
