Ghost story
My garage door opener spring just crapped itself (builders grade and 10 years old). Had my wife come down stairs and ask me what was I doing, I asked her the same thing. So went on a ghost hunt for the noise. 20 minutes later and crawling up to the atic I noticed the spring was off of the hook after the ninth time up and down the stairs.
It reminded me of a story I wanted to share with you guys. It was maybe a year after I had bought this house, and I just adopted my Rotti. We took her over to my sister inlaws with us for the evening. Everything was going kewl. We got home at roughly 11:30pm. went to bed. Ressa (the dag...you like dags....like what? Dags...oh Dogs, yeah I like dags...name the movie)....
Any way Ressa, she sleeps in the room with me and the missus. That night she kept jumping on the bed and trying to bury herself in the pillows. Shes not allowed on any beds and knows better. She did this 3 or 4 times, and every time it was harder to get her off. I never seen her like this before.
I got fed up and put her in the bathroom in my bedroom and gated her in. She sat at the door and wouldn't take her eyes off of us. Spooky, scary is more like it, like Cujo scary.
That night, my smoke detectors went off for like 5 seconds then went off. I jump up out of bed and as soon as I got into the hall way they stopped. I let Ressa out after stopping off at the BR. She followed me to the toilet and would not leave my side...She was glued.
Went back to bed and called it a glitch in the matrix, 20 minutes later, I hear like some one running across the roof of my house. Jump up again and it stopped. Now I live in a three story house, any man thats taking a running jump off of my roof is sure to kill himself.
Went back to bed and called it trippin'.
20 minutes later I woke up again because there was a light outside of my bedroom window (on the thrid floor), not just light, it was like I had 6 police helicopters at my window point blank range with their search lights off, but there was no noise. I shook my wife, and wouldn't you know it, as soon as she opens her eyes, they fade to black. I'll never forget that night. I'm convinced that either it was a ghost or I narrowly escaped being violated by aliens.
