my hummer H2 is from the states specifications
it says in the manual that 87 octane gas is good enough for the engine

problem is that in the UAE the only grades of gas is , 91, 95 and 98
i think they might have a different system of labelling the octane

i am currently using 95 , but im wondering if the car will be happier with the other grades

95 is 43 cents / liter
98 is 45 cents/liter

You are probably fine using what you are using...

 

More than likely in the UAE there using European Octane ratings and not US so it is in RON, so the 91 is equal too 87 US Octane. Just as the posted calculator is showing, good tool.

 

and to answer your question about US prices.... sorry I missed it...

On my Island it is still $3.03/gal at the Sunoco.... off Island it drops to around $2.70/gal

CONNECTICUT GAS IS 3.15 A GALLON RIGHT NOW!!!! 87 OCTANE. MY 2007 RUNS GREAT ON IT. I GIVE HER THE HIGHER PROOF EVERY NOW AND THEN !!!!!
