Thanks everyone

We figured they are about 16-18 Hwy and we drive mostly Hwy so we are good with that. My old Dodge Nitro got about 18-20 Hwy.

We have loved the looks of the Hummer since they first came out and been wanting one for a while. It was between a Hummer or an Unlimited and due to price the Hummer won out. I love big, boxy, bright vehicles. I am excited!! Now I can finally say.. I got a Hummer.. and not just hubby LOL!!!

I have an '06 adventure with 130k and i average 14-15 in the city. I tend to step on it too which probably doesn't help. I'm sure if i took it easy i could probably squeeze another 1-2 mpg but wheres the fun in that?

I average around 16 mpg with 285/75R16 offroad E rated tires. If I had some all season D rated I bet I could gain 1-2mpg.

I definitely saw a decrease of about 1 - 1.5 MPG when I moved from the OEM 33" tires to Goodyear Duratracs. You can gain quite a bit with road oriented tires but you will lose off road capability.

HI, I am going to get a Hummer Alpaha. But for now I drive a ZR2 and they are horrible on gas. MY truck would average 360km on the highway. Bought her new in 2002, put Amsoil in her front to rear, now my truck gets a constand 400 km in the city, and 560 to 620 kms on the haighway depending how fast I drive. And that is withthe BF Goodrich Mud TA, which do'nt help. You cannot beat the products. They save trucking company's over $5,000 a year in fruel costs. Just look at the facts.
Cheers, Bruce

I took out your marketing link so you would not be in violation of forum rules. I'll make the assumption that you made a mistake..... oops. With all of two posts, and the second one with a link to your amsoil site, you are looking very much like a spammer.

We wouldn't want that.
