It's one of the problems with modern "reporting", they rarely check their facts. The automaticreaction is that Hummers are big gas guzzlers, so they just assume when a tax to target "gas guzzlers" comes out, every Hummer will be a target. It still may work out that way though, as until theact is passed they can tweak the definition.

just yesterday one of our friend asked my wife how we could cope with the mpg here in France.
The funny thing is that the guy owns the same ML 500 I use to drive before I bought the Hummer.
And I can tell you FOR SURE that the ML 500 comsumption is higher, at least by 3/4 liter /100km, than the one of the H3.
So we are just speaking about image here.

We also have this SUV tax here since last year it's 700 € /year for the H3.

 

Do you drive with your recirculate turned on or your blower set to defog?
