Do you guys think if we ever plan a forum Hummer outting/get-together that we'd have as much fun picking on each other in person as we do on here? Being the youngest, I would instantly be first in line for the abuse (considering my 21 year old wife could be most of your daughters), with Dennis being a close second, ya know, being the, um, most life-experienced

I have been teaching Electrical Engineering on Power conditioning systems (10 megawatt range) for 14 years this November

Taught College in Evansville Indiana for 6 years

 

Wow, so all those times I said I went to DeVry for Electronics Engineering, you probably thought "man am I going to have fun with this kid"

I still never learned anything about those gas buildups you were talking about, so that was interesting.

I'm looking for a good book on Amazon right now about wood framing for home projects. I want to do it the right way. I have to figure out how to tap into my circuit breaker box "the right way" so don't be surprised of I bug you in January

Naw..I'm nobody different than you are and hold myself in any higher esteem...I could have taken another road and ended up as trailer park trash just as easily.

 

i think it would be fun but honestly if it is possible I dont know... I am sure we all live pretty far from each other and all are busy so finding the place to meet and a date would be hard to do and get a good turn out... but in the future when more users are active I think it would be great!

 

All I know is that when I went to my first Rally that my Bass fishing/boating forum held I was 22 years old and used to call out and mess with the older guys online all the time. When I got to Guntersville Lake in Alabama I got surrounded by 15 guys, picked up and thrown off the dock It was all in fun and they helped me back out and we had a great week but man for a few minutes there all I could thinnk was "what the hell did I get myself into"!!!

 

I'm sure that is probably what would happen to me, except I'd get thrown into a mud pit, which would end up being bottomless, and probably never be seen again......
