Anyone knowa way to trick it into staying on full time? H3t.

 

voltage is fed to cam by backup lights. just cut wire and supply 12v,,huh?

fwiw, i bought a complete cam/mon at walmart for $50

 

On this subject the 2011 GMC Terrains have a similar set up but instead of a screen coming out of the side of the mirror the view just lights up in the regular view mirror. I wonder if this mirror can be installed on the H3 since it's a GM product. But back to your question, a full time rear view camera would be great. Sorry I cant help but maybe others will post..
