I have a 2003 with 70ks on it ( not miles) and i have this one little annoying issue where the tank says it has 1/4 of a tank left. The computer says that there is 118kms left..and it will just cut out as if there's no fule left in the tank. It's a 200L tank approx. And to fill it up it only takes 160. So I'm thinking by that logic there's still fuel in the tank? Anybody else have this issue or have any suggestions / solutions for me?

 

My first thought is someone replaced the pump & sending unit and for some reason the sending unit isn't calibrated correctly. Which is why your fuel gauge is telling you something different then your DIC. Thats at least were I would start.

 

Thanks dude. Might look at getting some prices for all new fuel pump and sender.

I would make sure its a GM part# the issue you have may even be from an aftermarket part?
