Fuel Door Installation

Fuel Door Installation
Interested in installing the Defenderworx locking fuel door. Does anyone have any experience or tips with installing this fuel door. Defenderworx site says to just remove fuel filler cup, drill four holes and attach. Is it really that easy? How do you remove the fuel filler cup? That looks like it would be the most difficult part. Any feedback welcome.

Bought a locking fuel door on Ebay from G-Style. Got it today and figured I'd do a write up on the install.
Here's what I got:
Before the install:
I started by removing the fuel cap:
Using the template provided, I marked the holes to be drilled in the bezel with an ice pick:
The surrounding bezel just pops off:
I put the gas cap back on so my garage wouldn't fill up with gas fumes:
Drilled the holes and attached the fuel door to the bezel with 4 screws:
After cleaning the bezel, I applied the double stick foam tape:
Cleaned the fender where the double stick foam tape would be applied. Removed the other side of the tape and just pushed the whole assembly onto the fender:
Installed the "fake" bolts with a dab of locktite and the install is complete:
Took me about an hour because I was taking pictures along the way, but I would expect this to be a 20 - 30 minute job.

Hey G-Style I got mine done. It was an easy install. I removed a Chrome one so I had to have a stock bucket I got from www.ridgedemon.com used. It just needed a highlight so the Hummer would show up.
Thanks Clarence

I can telecommute. Just send me all your H3 products, I'll install them, and write it up.
