FS: Hummer H2 Billet Chrome Hood Latch Set + straps
Are these the same as the factory ones? Mine have chrome peeling on the sides too, but I seem to recall them being plastic??? If they're an upgrade I may be interested, depending how bad the chrome peel is, but if they're the same as what I already have, then it wouldn't be any different.

This is the 2nd time you have interfered with something I am trying to sell. Last time you posted my buyer's phone number and address. WTF?
What is your problem dude?
Just so everyone is aware, 88962941 is one of the genuine GM OEM part numbers.
Just a bit of info:
GM commonly has multiple OEM numbers for identical H2 parts coming out of the same bin. Depending on how the part was shipped to the customer. (as OEM installed on the car, OR as OEM part you could purchase afterwards from your GM Parts Dept. That includes H2 wheels, chrome bits, running boards, and anything else that could have been OEM installed in the factory during production AND also purchased from the parts dept. as an accessory after the fact. They apply different part numbers to differentiate how the part was supplied to the final customer.
Hope that clears up any confusion. These are OEM parts.

Ignorant post. You obviously do not know hummer parts, or your intent is to confuse potential buyers.
Please remove it.

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
I am calling BS on you. I am also calling BS on your having access to the GM database.
After all, that is why you only post screen prints of googled pages on your various comments on this forum.
If you really had access to the GM parts database, you would clearly see that this was an accessory part number, which later got discontinued. But it is listed and you can see it.
Another thing that you failed to notice in your haste, that the piece of paper that I photographed, and that is readily available on the net, shows that this was issued by www.hummer.com
You are a troll child hiding in your parent's basement.
Any normal person would not be posting personal info of people on this forum. Or trying to sabotage me. You are either very jealous, or think you are smarter than everyone else.
Time to get a moderator to remove your trolling.

I'm also an online seller, yet I NEVER deceive the buyer! You got yourself some cheap china knockoffs. That answers your previous post:
"PLEASE FULLY READ THE AD TEXT BEFORE CONTACTING ME. I can not edit it to make it any clearer.
People keep asking questions....The ad clearly explains what you are buying."
Now you found a GENUINE GM OEM PART!

That IS a genuine GM part number and those are a genuine factory part. The factory part numbers are often not referenced - often a general replacement part number is used instead. The 8896 number in this example is the initial revision release number. If you order one of the later superseded GM part numbers directly from a GM dealership, they come with the same install document with the original revision 8896 part number on the document. A few years back, for an ambulance service we used to work with, I ordered the same ones for a C5500 chassis ambulance.
