Front brake pads changed and theres bouncing....
Hey everyone,
I just changed my front brake pads yesterday and I now noticed that when I come to a slow stop that my h3 gives a little bounce like a lowrider in cali lol. Is this because I didnt change the rear brakes or did I do something wrong.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Adrian

If your rotors have warped or have a bit of uneven wear due to heat and time, there is a possibility the pads are gripping and rolling. Something an older set of pads may have been worked down to compensate. This can be common if you have a heavy foot for gas and braking like I do, I purchased a set of drilled rotors to help with overheating. Slotted designs stop better but will wear through pads quicker, hey are more for racing. Did you coat everything in brake cleaner. If there is a paste wax on your new pads that may cause issues to i suppose.
I put some of that quiet squeak stuff on the back of the metal plate to reduce the contact noise but thats all, no I did not use any brake cleaner. I did resurface the rotors and they were done pretty well.
