I just found this, some off the Alpha's in the video had the 2009 front locker in them.

Cool video. Glad to hear they retrofitted the front locker to some 08 Alphas. Hopefully I can do that to mine.

 

That's no ordinary Alpha. It has the H2's 6.2l V8 in it. 400+ HP. [sm=drooldude.gif]

 

Wow. Tons of HP for the 3. Not sure you need it and the weight of the V8 might be a big negative also.

 

They actually had to de-tune it so they wouldn't blow apart the drivetrain.

Looking at the engine, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and the normal Alpha 5.3 liter. And the Alphas have a higher spring rate t-bar to compensate for the additional weight.

 

I would have thought that the added weight of the bigger V8 would require more changes than that.What kind of torque did it generate?
