ok and thanks again for advice. mine is on the way from rock.
when i did tranny fluid i stuck a wad of putty on /around the clips,fearing a "ding" and a clip lost in my barn full of junk.
some guys in the past seemed to have an air lock after draining?? thats why i wanted to plug the hose and keep the eng full?
im just trying to cover as much as possible,,ahead of time.
always nervous on a first time thing and usually all goes well.

no fun anywhere on this venture,i had a tough time mainly with the shroud, a real struggle. a mess no matter how well i planned to catch fluids! im getting good at the tranny clips and actually put one back with my fingers,no tools!
i took about 3 hours and im still down a little tr fluid. i had a hose plugged on both lines to stop it but one came off? and it dripped while i didnt notice. i added 1 and need a little.
i drove it around till hot, checked the ac and parked. time for nap!. ill recheck dex when cool but it heated ok and the gage read same as always, not quite 1/2.
so heres hoping im done for a while. i couldnt have done it without forum help. thanks much all.
