Jettech737, would I be correct in assuming you are an A&P?

When changing bulb types, you will want to be sure the replacement bulb put the filament in the same position. Otherwise, the fog lamp will not longer be in focus, and cease being a fog lamp.

Good point Mike..Do you know if the socket is keyed or not, to prevent a misinstall?

I am an A&P with Continental Airlines in Orlando Fl. As far as to the bulb it is keyed like head lights
to align the filiment.

heres a pic of an h10 bulb, replacement for the stock 9140 as mentioned above. they are pretty much a smaller wattage headlight bulb and housing, nothing like the old h3 bulbs used in most aftermarket fog/driving lights.

yea, I put them in to make sure they fit before I ordered the yellow ones. they went in fine and worked great. I kept them in for two days and saw no problem from heat.

How do you get to the bulbs to get them out?

Did you notice a difference (are they brighter) or just blue? I want some bright *** white bulbs (like 100w) for better offroad and back road illumination. My second idea is to replace them with PIAA's...
