I've been concerned about the lack of flexibility in my Air Doc intake system, especially when my engine mounts were becoming worn out (I didn't want all the force on the intake manifold with the air intake being a mostly rigid member). I wanted a more flexible coupler between the air box and steel tube. The hump style silicone coupler is still too rigid. I found this polyurethane coupler from Summit Racing, aFe 59-00007 (the price went up $2 in the past week!). It comes with worm gear clamps, but I used the T-bolt clamps that came with the Air Doc kit.

The tube and air box outlet are very close to each other, so this flexible coupler may allow them to touch, yet to be known.
