Flat Towing
There is an apparant conflict in the Owner's Manual about Flat Towing.
On page 2-19, paragraph (B) of the 2008 manual it says to leave the key in the ACC/ACCESORIES position "if your vehicle must be pushed or towed." But on page 4-49, item (8) says for flat towing to turn the ignition off.
Leaving the key in drains the battery and the LOCK/OFF position locks the stearing, that's unless when you set the transfer case to NEUTRAL it also disables the stearing lock.
Which one is it: "ACC/ACCESORIES" or "LOCK/OFF"
I have drug mine about 10,000 mile around the country with the key off and in my pocket. I hope I haven't been dragging my tires sideways in the corners as well as straining the stearing lock.

I flat tow our H3 all over, and I take the key out as well. Never had a problem.
