FJ's are having frame cracking issues

i'll never bash a toyota, ever. but, my daughter's camry wasn't covered by warranty after she took it offroad either - i don't get it . . . . . . .
and it's not like the boulders were much bigger than the car . . . .

I traded my 2007 FJ (kept for 10 months) for my hummer and I love the hummer! I took it off-road several times and it is a great vehicle. My down fall was the backseat space, 2 doors (plus suicide doors), and plastic like interior. My H3 has a nice ride and luxury feeling to it and off-road wise they are close. Just thought I would throw that out there since I owned both.
are you gonna post the same crap in EVERY thread about the FJ?!?!?! Maybe you should go buy one....you seem to like defending the POS a lot. And FJ owners have stated cracks in the FRAME..not the inner fender...that IS a big difference.

besides, now that you're part of the tuner crowd, we're almost surprised to see you here very often.
hey, mr crabby, how many more weeks 'til you get a smile on your face? 3? 4?

Anywyas, with that out the way, the FJ's are having frame craking. If it was the body, it wouldn't have been a concern (at least to me), but it's the frame that is freaking people out. I don't think a body would cost $15,000 to fix for a simple crack (one FJ guy reported the repair costs).
I came to this forum to get an honest no bull**** opinion about H3s because I am in the market, I am also looking at FJs so I have been reading about them. I have seen the cracks on my friends FJ and they are not on the frame. Last time I checked the frame was on the bottom of the vehicle and not made out of sheetmetal. The cracks I saw wer in the crumple zones inside the engine bay/front fender wells.
I can see I will gain no value from this site. All I have read is that the H3 is "badass" and the FJ is made in Japan so it must be crap. Who made your TV?
We live in a global market, so to get a product sold it needs to be the best..........I don't care where it's made as long as it is the best!
I guessI will look somewhere else for real information about the H3.

Your off roading a toyota tundra pickup...HAHAHAHA sorry but dirt fire trails ain't considered off roading..lmao...stick with the fj...more your speed, then you and your buddy can give each other reach arounds while staing at your white roofs
