It is in Hobe Sound FL....The track is about 4 miles at the end of a develpoment called Poinciana Gardens. There is actually a big mud pit in the middle (stayed out).
I was gonna say "where in the devil is he offroading??" We just about have NO more land down here to offroad on. LOL
<egads> Mud on the baby! [:'(]

You did good. 4 high lock is good in sand, you probably could also have left it in 4 high open and been fine too. The key on sand is to keep your momentum going. You really only want to use 4 low lock when crawling over rocks and climbing steep hills, etc. when you are really needing some torque.

Post some pics!!!!

Are you crazy....Hummers are not supposed to go in sand. They are supposed to get water sprayed on them, followed by soap, more water, and wax. Why would you go off road when there are so many roads to get you where you need to go?

Don't forget to take some supplies with you when you offroad!

Water (Bottled)
Tree Saver Strap
Can WD-40
Assorted Tools in tool box, wrenches, socket set, etc.
Tow strap and come-along.
Good Hiking boots
Tire gauge
Duct tape
Topo map from a hiking or 4WD shop
CB radio (or 2 GMRS/FRS Hand held radio's)
Sleeping bag
Recovery Strap - 3" x 30'
D-ring Shackles (2) - 5/8" or 3/4"
Tire Repair Kit
Leather Gloves
First Aid Kit
Fire Extinguisher

Things in bold are must haves at quite a few ORV's.
