FWIW... My dealer has done setups with the Predator.. The Predator DOES change your approach some.. They say they can't run the "sales pitch" course behind the shop the same way with the Predator. The tow hooks drag even on the Adventure package trucks unless they turn them up or take a hardangle on hill approach and at the bottom of the ditch.. Normally even the base models take the course with no problems..

I just got a winch...I'm thinking I might just have to fab up my own bracket. I don't think I want it hidden but I cannot find any external brackets that bolt to the tow hooks. Anybody know of a external mount out there??

Also, what kind of power worries am I looking at here? I've got a 8,000lb Mile Marker

I don't plan on using it a lot but will I absolutely need a bigger or second battery? I have the adventure package..I cant remember...does that have a beefier alternator?

 

same alternator as stock, you should be ok if your not using it to winch out 5 trucks in a row. for your general use you will be ok with the stock setup.....you may want to invest in an optima battery though.
