Gratz, i also bought aused 03. Should be getting it back today from the shop, getting the intire interior redone. Jackass that had it before tried ot paint it black...

 

So, does anyone know how to get the roof rails off?

Never took mine off but if I remeber you turn the ***** to loosen them, slid the rail mounts back to the slots at the rear and they lift out. It has been awhile since I messed with an H2 but I think that is right. If not someone will take great delight in correcting me. I also think someone else asked this question not to long ago. You might try the search feature and see if you can find that thread.

 

you unscrew the ***** and you can also lift back the rubber and unscrew two other screws and lift them off in stead of slidding them backwards... I changed my stainless ones for Black..
