Maniac, thanks for your words of support. My sympathies to you and your previous H3 problems. GM is lucky that you went on to purchase a 2nd H3 after your bad experiences with your 1st H3! May your luck be better with your new one!
I believe the Mag-Moss Act tho - refers to modifications made to vehicles and warranty voids doesn't it? I have made no mods to mine and also unfortunately the lemon law doesn't come into play here since my H3 was repaired. Here the Lemon law states that attempts must be made to repair the same issue on 3 separate occasions before it can take effect. My beef is not with my H3 at this point, it is with GM and their customer care practices and the dishonesty that they displayed with me.

Having been involved in Law Enforcement which limits itself to criminal law not civil law for over 20 years, [/align]I know case law has a lot of weight and is actually the courts interpretation of what the legislation enacted[/align][/align]Past practices by GM in this matter of extending warranties for head repairs would be a successfull arguement[/align]for supportng any issue you would have in the future should the head fail again ... Remember, perseverance is[/align]the key here ... GM wants you to get tired, frustrated, & give up[/align][/align]Arbitration for GM is thru the BBB with the number being in the back of the Owner's Manual, and[/align]you do not have to agree or accept the arbitrator's decision ... You can always escalate to the courts[/align]But here's the fly in the ointment ... He who has the most money usually wins in our court system[/align]It's become a sad day this has happened, but it has ... I know first hand[/align][/align]Be safe & well[/align]
Thanks for the tips Maniac...you can better believe that while I am in a better frame of mind today...I am not done with GM! I am making my way across the Internet with the filing of complaints and posts everywhere I can come up with...I will also write letters, emails, (next will be to the General Manager of Hummer)etc., and my attorney will be involved. The sad thing is, I am not a litigious person (I just don't believe in it for every little whim) and I don't like to travel that route unless I have to, but I would say nearly 6 months time spent giving GM the benefit of the doubt displayed much patience on my part and they have left me no choice with this last scheming and dishonest act of theirs. As for law enforcement and the judicial system..I know it all too well...
