I wouldn't worry about it. Hummer is a division of General Motors that has been for sale for some time now. Due to the state of auto sales in general, they've had a hard time finding interested buyers. Now that BO has stepped in on GM and fired the CEO, anything is bound to happen, more than likely though, it will go the way of everything else that is run by the government....right in the crapper!
All I can say is GET TO ONE OF THESE TEA PARTY'S on APRIL 15th! We've got to stop this "new" government now! This "change" is beginning to cost us our freedom!

If you intend on buying a new Hummer I would do it now. I think the longer you wait the greater chance you are taking. The warranty will remain. Besides there are good rebates and the sales taxes you pay on a new vehicle in 2009 are deductible on your federal taxes this year.
