Nice. Does that "buy American" sentiment just go for tires or does it apply to your stereo, computer and cell phone too?

I used to see this same line by Harley enthusiasts, until you show them all the little pieces of their "Made in the USA" machine that come from overseas. It's not a couple of pieces either. Honda and Toyota come to mind as "Made in the USA" as well (Marysville and San Antonio)

 

Where does that Honda/Yota $ go?

I am an American Bike enthusiast, and we make bike parts, lots of them right here in the USA. Even have pinheads steal our designs and reverse engineer them through Asian hacks selling copy BS to dumbazzes that buy it to save forty two cents.

 

Honestly the main reason I even thought about them was a buy 3 get one free deal. All you guys know considering the price of our tires that's difficult to pass up if it's a quality tire. With that said, if an American company would have offered me that same deal, I would much rather have gone that way.

As for the off road capabilities, my occupation in recent years has taken me off the trails and onto the pavement so they are not trail tested so far. I do live in Florida and work in Texas and they handle very well in the sand and wet roads, two things we do see a lot of :-]

Supporting buy American can hardly be turned into a rascist motive, especially considering the " melting pot " aspect of American society. Seems we even welcome people into this country now that have designs on destroying this great country or turning into the same type of hellhole they just left. Never understood why someone would leave some third world $hithole, come here and then want to make this country just like the POS they just left.

 

back on the ACTUAL subject, I just put a set of these on my fiancé's nitro. seems like it'll be a good tire, very little road noise and it's a good looking tire. I haven't had a chance to do anything offroad but it's a fairly rugged a/t tire with nice design and sidewall grip without being too aggressive. I chose this tire because going with something too aggressive doesn't look right on almost stock size tire on a more street truck looking 4x4. I've almost always went with mud terrain tires but in my opinion it doesn't look right on a vehicle that has low body styling like a nitro. before it had the stock Goodyear tires on it, which did great most of the time that she drives on the highway, but she's got a heavy foot so being rear wheel drive she spins in rain all the time and last winter I got it stuck in 6" of unpacked snow in 4 wheel drive, so it was time for something more aggressive.

Why does everyone take offense to the fact that people are different. This happens to every old, worn out, used up forum where all the questions have been answered and people turn to politics, religion and economics to argue about and insult each other.
