FACTORY WARRANTY/MISC. PROBLEMS
[font="Times New Roman"]Dose anyone have thier factory warrenty info handy????? I'm trying to recall the terms. I did buy the extended warrenty, however you have to pay a deductable when using it. I need to get a few things fixed. Has everyone else had tons of problems with thier retractable mirrors. The cold kills those things. I had herd a rumor that GM would be updating the mirror design to be more reliable. I see the look of the mirror has changed this year, but dose anyone know if there has been a mechanical improvement and if so are they going to retrofit the older trucks? Also my driver seat lumbar and side support dosnt work. I got the driveline clunk thing happening at a stop sometimes. I've got a check coolant level and service air suspension warning here in the last few days, bot of witch happend while the truck was in a slightly vertical position. And theres this little diffrence in the way to motor sounds just at the 2-3rd gear shift point. Maybee I should just trade it in for the SUT I've been drooling over.

I've had some issues with mine too. I've had to replace the memory seat module for the drivers seat. I think that the motor that runs the seat back and forward may be going. You can't just replace the motor though ( it comes as a whole assy.) replaces all the motors. Cost of over 600.00. As for the air suspension, had a leveling sensor go bad, that one was only 247.00 to replace. You have to take it to a dealer because of the way the suspension is set up. As far as driveline "CLUNK" , that is called accumlative backlash (meaning that all the differentials, transfer case, and transmission have wear to them after a whille and when you hit the throttle, it makes up that wear and CLUNK is the result. I also had to replace the pitman arm and the idler arm for the steering. 65,000 miles of wear and I live in the mountains.
Yea, theyre gonna fix everything but since I had more than 6 items to repair, they said GM was sending some sort of investigator out to verrify all the needed repairs. What a joke. They have 48 hrs to respond. So Im stuck driving my companys crappy chevy 1/2 ton pickup. Oh and by the way if any of you have had problems with your retractable mirrors, they are retrofitting the older trucks to the new style of mirror. See your dealer.
i think the seat memory module is a chronic pain in the rear. i'm not sure mine works, and my truck has 180 miles.
i grilled the dealer pretty hard before buying, and explained that i was going to be a pest about any single thing that went wrong, and they told me that by and large (memory seats aside) the things were pretty solid. I recommend abusing any warranty you bought to the absolute max - that's why i bought a 5 year/ 75k.

i have problem with heat seat, but after i went to dealer i have another problem. my seat cannot go forward or totally dead. after that, dealer said i have problem with driver seat module. my question is, should i change that module in dealer or by myself??

but bus.... your the anti chrome man... and there is was less chrome on the new mirrors. Besides if you look at it its a much better design. Im ready to try these out. I burned through 3 sets of the old P.O.S mirrors.
