Default extra off road lights on brush gaurd

Does the dealer installed brush gaurd have any places to mount lights on it? If not, is there a mount that will wrap around the bars? I've been shopping around a bit and it seems most of the off road lights only mount with a flat round mount and a bolt, nothing that would clamp around a round bar. I also don't want to spend an arm and a leg for the hummer grill lights. The headlights on this thing SUCK. I've tried raising the aiming, different light bulbs and they still suck. I figure the only way to be able to see down the road well is to wire up some aftermarkets to the high beam circuit. (Since I'm not going to install HID circuit to replace the stockers - still under warranty)

That would be the second question... Anyone know which lead going into the lights triggers the high beams? I will patch off of that to the new relay.

Thanks

u need to buy a clamp. u need to no the size of your bar so u order the correct clamp. u can search the web for it. i no piaa makes some. i 2 have tryed some diffrent head light bulbs and thank god piaa finally released a H13 headlight bulb cause now i can see. i have piaa bulbs for my fog lights and headlights and also have 4 piaa's on a lightbar on my roof. i use to have 2 piaa auxilary lights that where mounted to my grill bar so thats how i no they make clamps. i took them off for 2 reasons. 1 is i did not need them now that piaa put out H13 bulbs so i can see and 2 was cause the clamps did not fit to well being i do not have a factory grill so my size was diffrent. piaa makes 3 or 4 diffrent clamps but there for factory bars my grill is a aftermarket higher end one. plus i could not run them all at once or i would get in trouble for running 2 headlights and 4 fog lamps so i figure i dont need them.i actually sold mine on ebay and gor my money back. good luck with it all,it can be trickey so where u order make sure they take returns in case they dont fit and u need a diffrent size and they can be hard to track down cause i had trouble at first.

I had not heard of that company before so I just looked it up http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H13.html damn expensive bulbs $92? Are there other places that are resellers and they are manufacturers? wow. I bought a pair off ebay for $11 which were much whiter but not brighter, then I bought a paird of sylvania silverstars off amazon for $30 where I had a gift card and am hoping they are better. My wife drive the hummer dailly so I dont get a good perspective. Its getting cold here now so I won't be doing any real work now. I'll swap in these bulbs and may play with the aiming again. I cranked on the aiming screws quite a bit. couldnt believe how low they were aimed. it was almost like they didnt take into consideration the rake angle of the vehicle.
If these silverstars aren't better I'll have a few months to find additional lights and clamps to add on. thanks for the website and info.

For clamps it looks like you have to get the right size - not a one size fits all deal. We have this form the dealer

Hummer H3 Brush Grille Guard, Black12498478

anyone know what size the bars are? yeah I could measure it. just though someone already knows.

i bought the hummer h13 piaa bulbs from a reputable dealer off ebay who is a authorized reseller for $62 brand new in piaa hard case package which is better then the $92 from piaa.i aslo searched and found them cheaper then $92 from other car stores but when it came down to total price it was they guy from ebay. so try ebay if u want some good headlight bulbs and dont wana convert .

thanks. after this the off road lights may be down the road since I installed the silverstars today and took a ride tonight with the fog lights on = did not realize she had them off, and they look great now - that and me cranking up the aiming nice and high.
