Was hoping a few of you guys/girls with aftermarket exhausts could take a moment and take a short video of what your exhaust sounds like from outside the H3 (at idle and when revving) and then from inside (from idle accelerating to highway speed and cruising for a bit)

I know it would take a little bit of time, but I think it would help allot of us with stock exhaust decide on what to get. For myself I want the performance but don’t really want the noise of a really laud system. I know that depending on conditions the sound might be different then the real sound but it should give a good idea as what to expect.

Thanks for your help. Also if someone knows what performance exhaust system has the lowest tone/sound that would help.

I don't have the ability to record a video other than my cellphone and I doubt you would want to base a purchase on that. However, I just installed the Volant cat back system on my truck. It was only $250.00 shipped. It was also the easiest installing cat back system I've ever seen- a true bolt in without any mods or bending. The sound is not very loud and only noticeable at low RPMs (<2800RPM). Its a fairly deep, throaty sound- not ricey at all, that goes away at higher speeds. I do notice a small performance gain, but mostly low end torque is improved.

 

Yeh dont know how good a cell ph would be, but if you can something is better than nothing or if you have a digital camera that would work. Thanks for the info anyway.
