has anyone changed their exhaust (muffler) to get a better sound...I know it's only a 5 cylinder, but any suggestions would help. thx

 

MagnaFlow cat back since June 2007, with my other performance mods, she roars when you get on it, sounds great around town, just a wee bit more sound.

The I5 does not growl like a 6, or thump like an 8, but it does not sound like a 4 banger Fart pipe either.

 

thanks, all i am looking for is a little better sound, probably not going to do the complete cat back...too $$$$. was looking at just a muffler.

I went all out and went with a Gibson extreme cat-back, and then ended up replacing the manifold with a header. Everyone loves the sound of it. This particular set up makes a lot of drone at highway speeds, but I am old school muscle car guy. I personally love it.
