A dead rodent in a vent? Or a dead gorse?

I would bet you have a mold/mildew issue in the AC evaporator. You can buy a chemical that you spray in the vents to eliminate that. We had a Cadillac that that happened to once. The spray fixed it.

I had the same problem and found out that every time I washed the H2 or it rained the driver side floor mat had so much sediment in the bottom of it due to the adventure floor mats that it started to smell I took the floor mat out and power washed it and have not had the smell since. Are you getting in and out of it after you wash it and have wet feet if so try that first

It's been so long I cant remember. Look in the yellow pages for an Auto Air Conditioner repair shop. They will probably sell it. Some of them even have a machine to rid the evap of mildew.
