Engine only run with light switch in park and wipers off.

engine runs only with light switch in park. turning on wipers or changing light switch position causes engine to stop. No DSC Codes. !?!?

Welcome. I have no idea what you mean by "light switch in park?"

Do you have a sunroof? If so has your passenger side floor got wet?

The parking lights position, just clockwise from the auto position.

No sunroof.

Set up and programming?

Make sure it's the bcm.... Yes, they have to be programmed.

How do I make sure and how are they programmed? I have a pretty good GM scan tool.

GM TECH II or similar product, about $3-4,000.
A code reader is not a TECH II.
