GM part number 17802464. Installed my self in about 30 minutes. The best price I found was at ShopChevyParts.com for combined parts and shipping. $360 US.

Most people that are going this route install an Air Doc. Same principle. Doc Olds is a member on several forums. His units the last I checked ran about $155 US. I have no idea if the GM part was used as a template or if he engineered a totally new design.

The difference between the two as I understand it, is the GM kit includes an air filter and a Chromed air box cover. Doc Olds could certainly speak for his product better than I. Although chrome is not a favorite for many Hummer owners - for me - it was an important engine compartment item, thus my decision to go with the GM part. I think many Hummer owners are very happy with their Air Doc intakes.
