Default EBC Brakes

Since I have a 2008 H2, does someone here know if the brake pads and rotors are the same from 2003 all the way up for the H2's? I am planning to buy a set of EBC Drilled/Slotted rotors all around (GD7210 Front, GD7094 Rear) with EBC 7000 series pads (DP71304 and DP71305). Would these work on the 08? I did not want to spend another $$$$ on a front and rear set of complete Brembo set like on my H2, since this one is just my other half's H2 If anyone has any info on this please let me know. Perfectbrakes.com seems to have the whole deal for $676.14 and free shipping.

I am not sure. I think the basic brake system is the same but the 08s have the brake assist feature. I am not sure if they required any changes to anything else or not.

It is an automatic braking system that balances out wheel speed when braking. I think it is unique to the 08s but may have been on earlier models. I don't think it should effect other parts unless they have to accomodate a sensor some how. I heard the 08s had ventilated discs but I haven't looked at one closely. Ceramic pads...not a bad factory brake system.

Ok - I know what you are talking about. Yeah, the 08 does have the ceramic pads and ventilated discs. I am selling the takeoffs as a complete set in the for sale area. The one system I did do a complete changeover to the Brembo and I havent noticed any problems - just extremely touchy braking. I mean it stops 4x quicker. You have to ever so softly touch the brake pedal. Jamming on the brakes get you a fat upper lip fast. You hit the steering wheel with your face. I'm not kidding.

So basically just changing the rotors and pads over to EBC wouldnt do much.

Mudding in an 08 is tricky - I had to disable the traction control system and disable the ABS system (Installed an inline switch ) and disable the OnStar system (inline switch as well)
