Duplicolor bedlined grill and tinted parking lamps
This weekend I decided to spiff up the H3 a bit and take care of my grill that had paint flaking off and also my parking lamps. I was going to Line-X it but cheapest quote I got was for 150 with me doing all the prep work myself. I couldnt see shelling out that kind of cash so I bought a can of $6 duplicolor bedliner and a can of $12 VHT Night Shades tint spray for lights lenses. Both products worked great. The bedliner seems like it will hold up great as it leaves a thick texture that blends in very well with the bumpers texture. I even accidentally whacked the grill on the corner of my garage when moving it to put it back on and not even a scratch. The tint also worked great and I didnt even have to remove the lenses from the truck. Was extremely satisfied with the results and wanted to post this up since I see many threads of people debating spray bedlining their grills themselves.

Looks awesome! i don't know how you guys do such a good job of painting, i tried to paint my snowboard racks and i ruined them! Haha. But yeah, i think that texture looks better than if you bought a gm black grill. i don't like how the gm grill is gloss black. i might tryto have someone else paint all my chrome with duplicolor jetliner. great job

This is the only picture I have of the whole side right now. At work so can't take a better one. It's before I did the grille and other mods but the side markers have been done for a while.
mthoodh3- believe me, I suck at painting haha. But trust me, the bedliner is so easy to work with. I messed up about three spots and all you do is simply sand down the area and put a new coat on top and it blends in with the rest. Should be easy to touch up as well should I ever need to.

Ak47dennis- my grill before this was body colored but flaking off so the chrome was already gone. I just sanded the black paint off and scuffed it up a little. As for the tire/wheel combo I'm running 35x12.50x20 Toyo open country M/T's.
