Drive Train 2006 H3
Recently I've noticed when parking my 2006 H3 on an inclined driveway, after putting it in park and releasing the brake (when a car typically rolls back just a bit), I can hear a small click as if it's engaging the parking pin. Not that out of the ordinary for some cars.
However, I noticed that if the car is in drive and the car is off, the car will roll as if it's in neutral.
Additional note: What tipped me off this may not be normal behavior is that I recently replaced a shot front drive shaft. It's my understanding that in 4 lock, you should be able to drive without the front drive shaft. I was able to going down the block, then it crapped out and the front drive train would just spin in 4 Lock.
I am thinking all of this has to do with a bad shift fork.
Can someone shed some light on this?
