Default door lock "mot" control blocked

double check it. if you're like me and killed the noisy horn you listen for the clik and watch the lights flash. regardless, the remote does not work in some environs like some autozone/advance auto, AND AT MY BANK!!
i saw no flash, rechecked the door, UNLOCKED. locked it manually. came out and cliked, no unlock!. at this point if your key dont work, you go trouble!

these places have power radiation for data communication/satellite billing/inventory and it blanks your fob.

surprise if you miss it and find your 3 cleaned out ,,,or GONE! WHEN you come out.

My remote also does not work in areas of high RF. A parking garage I use almost daily is an example. There is a high tech web mail hosting company in the complex and that is the only place I have a problem. They are moving out to their own building in a research park so I will be able to verify my theory when they are gone.

Now don't laugh at what I am about to say.
I learned years ago when I am in an area that the remote doesn't seem to "reach" out to the vehicle, I press the remote against my chin and then press the button.
OK, stop laughing.
I have tried to disprove this over the years, but it does work.
The RF bounties off the bone, I guess.

There have been times when just pressing the button, it won't unlock the doors from across a closed in parking garage. I then try the press to chin and then press button.
Voila, it worked.

I too, have turned off the horn signal to open vehicle on the second day of ownership.

the first time I noticed it we had both H3s out eating and neither one would work. I thought the battery had died at first until neither one worked.

In 7+ years I have never had mine fail to work, wherever I might be.

Guess I live in low RF areas.

It happens to me twice today, once outdoors and once in the parking garage. After numerous up close attempts the fob would not unlock the truck. I did as you suggested and it instantly started working. My working theory is that static electricity builds up on the case and interferes with the rf. By placing it under your chin, the charge is dissipated and it starts working again. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
