We have had a rash of people signing up and e-mailing members telling them they have to go to a certain site and verify who they are or they will be turned in. I have banned several but noticed that they are still able to send e-mails to or PMs to members after being banned. Is there a way to block people from signing up with official sounding names like Admin& Moderator or Moderator Team?

 

sorry..ive been in and out of town over the past two weeks. this problem has been going on everywhere and the only means that weve been given to slow them down is to add a new member group that cannot PM. this has worked elsewhere.
