Any devices a person can buy to frighten deer away as you approach?
I will be commuting thru a freaking deer guantlet.....

Well, I was going to suggest one of those deer alert whistles, but doesn't seem like they work (did a quick search and a few sites said the same sort of thing); however, ran across this although not sure if it's a sales type site...Guess just be extra careful.

I've seen several but personaly never used one or know anyone that has. like jnr said look around online & I guess it kind of comes down to a roll of the dice.

Can you see the deer in your location?
Did you try blowing your horn at them supposing that they are on the road?

Yes, same here...seems the concensus is the devices don't work.
Although, I did use them when I lived in GA once, and never hit or saw any deer for that matter.
