The badge is a different shade I believe. BTW: The tacticalis suppose to come with full under body protection. Is this refering to the 4 plates they have or is this refering to the optional protection as seen on the Hummer website. I do not have the optional but believe this is what it should have.

What is under your car? Unless the tactical have the 4 plates and the regular ones do not.

I'll put up a before and after De Badge pic. Yes some hair dryer warm up is a must if you want to be done in quick fashion. 12-15# mono fishing line works well.

Factory crooked. Nice.

Freekin hot sunny day. Pics are freeky too, like Haloween spooky reflections.
Residue that is left on the truck for removal to be followed up with a little cleaner wax/ wax.

I angled the pic to best pick up the residue that is left, which you can see ain't much.

I Say "Leave them on and BLACK them out" you can use window tint to give a black chrome look or buy a badge kit on ebay for $10, for all all 3 sides.

I got my black on black H3 Tactical this past Friday. I plan to keep the H3 badges on the doors and the rear hatch, but when my detailer comes Saturday to give it a real good coat of wax, I think I am going to ask him to remove the GM badges on the front quarter panels. Any thoughts? Any reason to really keep them? In fact, I would love to have the H3 badges painted a subdued flat grey to add to the "tactical" mistique.

That's a great idea. I don't like the GM badges. I took mine off and it looks muchbetter.

I'm not sure, but I keep reading about these "special badges"but nobody is mentioning what they are. Mine is black on black also, however on both doors and on the rear next to the H3 there is another badge that says TACTICAL EDITION. Why no mention of this? Just curious, I like the black out idea and will try that though. I normally do de-badge my cars, however I want to keep these since it is a "limited edition".

I thought of getting a "FLEXFUEL" badge and putting it on the back, to **** off the hummer haters. LOL
