I have an 06 H3 and the dash light on my fan control has burned out. How do I get to it to replace it???

 

i first saw it on the forum, a pix of someone pulling the panen with two fingers in the 12v lighter sockets

it simply plugs in with 6-7 metal fingers that are tapered and fit into mating holes

IF, you are careful, you can figure out how to squeeze the connectors, electrical, about 7 and unplug them

you then have the panel in your hand, for inspection to find the hidden lite! i have no idea where it is. they use a lot of bulbs,AND tiny leds that are surface mounted, on the top 4wd controls.

the bulbs are soldered to the circuit board.

if a bulb, radio shack probably has them

btw you need to turn ign on to shift out of park to get at it and get the ign off b4 pulling the connectors
