Went to the dealer after throwing misfire code on #2 cylinder. Guess what!!! New head required @ 52k on 2008 h3... Parts ordered, they are covering it under warranty thank god and giving me a loaner.

Just wanted to update what happened with the dealer. Diagnosed was #2 cylinder valve seat failure. Leak down test on #2 was 45%. Took the h3 in on Monday this week (they had to order parts) The service guy I dealt with was awesome. They gave me a Cadillac CTS while mine was in there. They replaced the head, gasket and bolts and I got it back in less than 36 hours. Thank God GM covered the entire bill, $1900+. What a difference, it's like driving a different vehicle, the rough idle is gone, acceleration is dramatically increased. Hopefully mpg will improve as well. If anyone lives in or around Pittsburgh I highly recommend Cochran in Monroeville.
