custom light bar
i was at work and decided to make a cheap light bar. It took about an hour to make. I put a nut on a bolt and welded the bolt to the bottom of the bar, did this on both sides. that way the nut can still be moved up and down. weld the side that dosent have the head to the bar.. i then grinded down the head of the bolt that way it could slide into the factory rack slider. then using the nut to tighten it down... very simple very cheap. then i grinded it to bare metal and used truck bed liner to paint it. mounted 4 lights and then put it onto my roof. The bar is 49 3/4 long. i welded the bolt on about an inch in on each side. here are some pics. will have better ones once i charge my camera.

oh i dont know how much it would cost, i used the armys material. i dont think very much though. i maybe have 200 dollars into this truck. i wired the all the lights to the daystar dash accessory peice. it took about 3 hours to wire the entire thing. lights on the grill as well. all to 2 switches.
