Crooked 2006 H3
I purchased an H3 about three weeks ago and noticed it within a few days that the vehicle is not level left to right. It sits 3/4" lower on the drivers side, both front and rear. The body appears to be sitting correctly on the frame, but the suspension is uneven, the shock tubes are not extended equally on the left and right. I'm hoping that it is a suspension problem and not a issue with the frame being crooked. I have a appointment scheduled to have the dealer look at the problem. Has anyone else had a similar problem? thanks.

Well, did you check when the gas tank is full or close to empty? The tank is on the driver side.

Or you can just keep a fat chick in the passenger seat, eventually the springs will weaken on that side and level out.

This has been drivin me crazy! I've got the same problem! I've been driving around looking for a flat surface to park it on and sure enough it leans to the driver's side. I thought it was me. What did the dealer say to you when you made the appointment have they heard of this before?
Because the tank is on the driver's side, PLUS the driver always being in the car, that is double the weight being put on that side. Maybe the torsion bar isn't adjusted right
NOW I understand why everybody is turning the driver's side more then the pass side. I knew the gas tank was on the Driver's side, but mine has always been leve, well, I think.
Damnit now I have to check that! THANKS GUYS [:@]

The gas tank level hasn't made a difference and when I've looking at the problem no one has been in the vehicle. It appears to be a suspension problem. I've done several measurements on the vehicle and the suspension on the drivers side is compressed more then the passengers. The distance between the fender flare & ground, and the bottom of the frame rail & the ground shows that the driver's side is 3/4" lower then the passengers side. Both the front and rear have a 3/4" difference left to right. The rear shock tube on the passengers side is extended more then the driver's side. I've also noticed that the driver's rear wheel doesn't sit the same as the passengers, it looks like the bottom is titled in and that it doesn't stick out of the fender well as much as the passengers side. Vehicle weight, gas tank level, etc. doesn't make a difference. I have about 2,000 miles on my H3 and it rides fine and I am not seeing any abnormal tire wear yet.
Could it be off-level so that the fuel flows to one side? I would think they would tilt the tank before this but i know how american engineering can work sometimes...why build a new bracket when you could just tilt the whole thing?
Or maybe its just set up for NASCAR races...?
