Hey thanks for all your help. Dennis, the bolts in the 2nd picture you took connect to the black plastic assembly behind the grill. It does not connect to the grille. At least on mine. Maybe yours is differen't. I don't have a nice camera like you, maybe you could turn around the cam and take a picture facing the grille (in your second pic) So you can see where that plastic connects too. thanks

I know... the black plastic piece stays with the whole grille. What I showed in the pictures will remove the whole grille and the inside black piece all in one..

Ah...then you are correct sir! If you only unscrew the 4 bolts I mentiond only the chrome peice will come off, leaving the black plastic peice in place. So I guess there isn't a difference in 06-07 after all!
