Default Convert console 12V outlet to ignition-switched?

I'd prefer to not unplug the GPS (my Bluetooth) when I shut down and would like to make one of the 12V outlets on the console switched by the ignition key. Has anyone done this?

Thanks for the link...now I can choose either of two methods!

I did a search for "outlet" but didn't see anything on the console outlets.

I installed a cigarette lighter I got from radio shack w/the fuse and such already in-line. So I just tapped into a switched wire (in my case it was easy b/c I have an aftermarket head unit that has a switched wire so I just tapped into that) and hid the lighter behind my dash on the driver's side. I removed the inside driver's side A-Pillar and ran the GPS wire down under the dash and connected it to the new cig lighter and now I have no ugly cables running in font of the dash and I don't have to unplug the GPS.
