Is there any kind of conversion kit available to swap the '03/'04 chrome backed mirrors for the '05+ mirrors with signals? Has anyone done this and how hard was it?

the conversion is super easy...

spend $300 per mirror for the new style one and install.

check ebay, or maybe the classified section.. average price will be $300 +

forget about buying from dealer, as they will wont nearly double per mirror.

the new style connects directly up to the old style connection.. so no splicing to worry about.

now if your H2 is under warranty... something as simple as the folding motor is shot could be enough to have them upgraded under warranty.

 

mirrors with signals?? When did H2's come with signal mirrors?? I know my 06 doesn't have them!

 

I test drove a 2005 a few months ago and it had them on it. Not sure if they were some OEM upgrade or aftermarket or what. It looked very nice.

 

there are mirrors you can upgrade to with the signals for a little over $300. I personally never seen an H2 with signal mirrors
