Default Considering an H2

Hi All, new member here. I currently own a Ford F-250 diesel. I have a business selling Argo amphibious all-terrain vehicles and I use this truck to pick up and deliver new vehicles. I don't towas much weightany more and I'm in the market for a different vehicle. I would tow 2000 pounds most of the time, up to 5000 rarely. I was thinking my vehicles would sure look good behind an H2. How do these Hummers do with a trailer? Ilooked up every bit of info that I can find. It looks like there is plenty of motor there if everything else is done right. I will say it looks like there are a lot of Chevy truck parts in there, and that worries this Ford man! Am I getting a $50k SUV, or a 30k truck witha 20k name plate? (seriously)
I might go for a used H2 to save the initial loss from anew vehicle (I don't buy my trucks new). I'm in Missouri, has anyone done business with Lynch Hummer in Chesterfield? Any other good places to find these?

I don't know much about the H2 other than they are a beast and work hard for you..They certainly should handle the load you're talking about no sweat....The high priced name plate for a crap carcomes with Land Rovers not HUMMERS.

Lynch Hummer is prolly one of the best mid-west dealers you can find..Next best IMO would be Lander's Hummer down in Fayetteville or Benton AR.

HD, you are getting a 60K Offroad vehicle, not an SUV with a name plate. In other words it's nota Ford Expedition hehehehehe ..sorry, had to jab ya on the Ferd thing! Have you gone to the dealer and taken one out for a test drive yet?! If not, do it! It took me all of 30 seconds to decide when I did and there are many reasons for it. The ride is exceptional for something this big and bulky, the comfort is outstanding, the "go anywhere" rugged good looks, and of course said good looks being backed up by a kicka$$ 4x4 system (never failed me yet).
Do you pay for the name!? Yep, probably, just like any other higher priced vehicle .. but I would say in the case of the HUMMER's it's well spent money. Buying used may be an option but keep in mind you're buying someone elses problems too ... In any case, drive one, experience it .. then tell us what you think. I seriously doubt you will be disappointed with it!

Thanks for the welcome and all the info. I have not yet driven one, sat in one, or heck... even touched one. I'm quite the Hummer virgin. I have seen one guy with an H1 but most people in this area are lucky to just have something that runs. I will definately need a test drive to help get me going. I was just cruising today in my Powerstroke thinking how tough it's going to be to find a better vehicle. It's one sweet ride but I really think the H2 is worth a try. Any real problems with the first year 2003 models? I'd go for an '04 also, but the '03 selection seems much larger. Since there are so many Chevy parts, canthe H2be repaired fairly cheap instead of buying Hummer parts?

You might have to take a number. With a Hummer and a trailer of Argos by my shop, I could be over run with "friends". Haha... I don't have a whole lot of videos but I do have hundreds of pictures on my website. You can find the link in my profile.
My current tow rig with Max 6x6s:
