Well... that sounds like something that the insurance would approve. Did they say how long the process would take? Glad the other deriver was ok... They accepted blame, right?

 

This is like a horrible nightmare, insurance didn't approve of my recommendation to save them about 16k. So it looks like total loss but because of the damages it won't be a salvaged title. So they are going to pay off my car and give me about half of what is needed to repair the vehicle. The at fault party is not accepting responsibility telling me and 3 witnesses his light was green, and his insurance carrier says his policy was canceled in April. I wish I could go back in time and get a few licks in before the firemen got there but it looks like it might not be as bad as it could have been when the dust settles I'll own my vehicle outright.

 

This just stinks... When are you going to get the work done? At least the title will be good and in the end the H2 paid off... Hopefully everything works out for you and I wish you luck.

 

So why dont you buy back the wreak from your insurance company? Then buy the frame and title it.

I found a place in Balch Springs Texas, TTR Truck Frame Repair. TTR stands for Trash Truck Repair. They did a good job swapping the frames out for me and she has been ridding fine for about two months now. Total cost so far about 11,000. I also finally checked out Classic Hummer in grapevine. I kind of got the feeling they could shutdown at any minute, but it was nice walking in and feeling like I was at a hummer service center and they didn't try and shoe horn me into a cts for a loaner either.
